Brenda Mackin - Retired 2016
Brenda grew up on a farm near Calgary moving to the big city to begin nurse's training at the Foothills Hospital. Brenda received her RN and worked at the Foothills Hospital in various areas but spent most of her years working in the Plastic Surgery and Burn Units.
In 1994, I developed a foot problem which necessitated my first visit to a Podiatrist. Coincidentally, Dr. Feldman had just arrived in Calgary and had just started working at the clinic I attended. I left that day with both happier feet and a new job.
Dr. Feldman has always provided an excellent learning environment and over the years I have experienced a great deal of both personal and professional growth, I love to educate patients about their feet and body and any possible surgical intervention that might be required. We strongly believe that patients should have enough information to make informed decisions regarding their foot problems and I am always ready to help with that.
I have been married for over 40 years (to the same man!), have two adult children and grandchildren too! My husband and I love to travel and do what seems like endless home renovations. I also love gardening and find myself only truly relaxed when outdoors in my yard.
I am a people person and have been truly blessed to meet new and interesting people at work every day, many of them becoming friends. Our team has worked closely together for a number of years and we are like family to one another. Working here has been very rewarding and I look forward to the years ahead.

Tania has been working with Dr. Feldman for more than 10 years and still loves her job. Her work as a podiatry assistant has helped her growth and understanding about the feet and that they are not just a part of the body but the most important part as they take us from one place to another. Feet can tell a lot about a person; their lifestyles, their health and their body condition. Tania specializes in laser therapy as well as always making sure the clinic is fully stocked with medical supplies.
